PCAN-Repeater

Introducing the new PCAN-Repeater, with full CAN FD support.

The new PCAN-Repeater is a compact, cost-effective solution for building reliable CAN and CAN FD network infrastructures. Whereas the previous PCAN-Repeater DR was mainly designed for CAN CC buses, this model offers full CAN FD support.

With two CAN/CAN FD channels, it supports nominal bit rates up to 1 Mbit/s and data bit rates up to 8 Mbit/s. It therefore helps improve signal quality, optimise network topologies and protect connected devices.

Key strengths

• 5 kV galvanic isolation between the CAN channels and the power supply;
• termination resistors switchable via DIP switches;
• tool-free Push-In connectors;
• LED indicators for simplified installation and maintenance.

A migration guide, published in English by the group, brings together the information needed to move smoothly from the PCAN-Repeater DR (IPEH-004038) to the new PCAN-Repeater (IPEH-004039).
