PCAN-PassThru API

In the field of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) programming, there are countless applications used for the development and diagnosis of embedded automotive electronics.

The communication interface between these applications and the ECUs is defined by the international standard SAE J2534 (Pass-Thru). PCAN-PassThru enables the use of SAE-J2534-standard applications with PEAK-System CAN interfaces.

Communication relies on PCAN-Basic and PCAN-ISO-TP. PCAN-PassThru is supplied with every PEAK-System CAN interface.
