Configurable temperature measurement module with CAN FD connectivity
The MU-Thermocouple1 CAN FD acquires, pre-processes and transmits temperature measurements via the CAN FD protocol. Equipped with 8 thermocouple connectors, this module is calibrated for measurement range J, K or T depending on the selected version. Temperature readings are available in Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin and can be adjusted using a custom factor and offset. Data transmission is performed in CAN FD or classic CAN.
Configuration of data processing, message transmission and LED display is done via the free Thermocouple FD Configuration software for Windows. The configuration developed on the computer is then loaded into the MU-Thermocouple1 CAN FD via the CAN bus, after which the module operates as a standalone CAN node. Multiple units can be configured independently on the same CAN bus.
