Programmable 6-channel CAN and CAN FD router with I/O and data logging
With its six channels, the PCAN-Router Pro FD interconnects the data streams of next-generation CAN FD buses and classic CAN buses. Thanks to plug-in CAN transceivers, each channel can be adapted to the specific requirements of the network. The router also has one analog input and four digital I/Os. CAN messages can be logged to internal memory or to a removable memory card, and later retrieved via the USB connection. The PCAN-Router Pro FD makes it possible to manage, monitor, and control the data streams of test benches and production facilities. Bidirectional CAN / CAN FD conversion makes it easier to integrate new CAN FD applications into existing CAN 2.0 networks.
The operation of the PCAN-Router Pro FD can be fully customized for specific applications. The firmware is developed using the development kit with the GNU compiler for C and C++, then transferred to the module via the CAN bus. Numerous programming examples, including message forwarding and logging, simplify the development of custom solutions.
Out of the box, the PCAN-Router Pro FD includes dedicated firmware for configurable logging of CAN and CAN-FD data traffic.
