Programmable dual-channel CAN router
The PCAN-Router is a two-channel CAN module built around the freely programmable microcontroller of the NXP LPC21 series. This architecture provides great flexibility in handling CAN messages: configuration, analysis, filtering, and routing between the two channels.
The firmware is developed using the programming library and the GNU compiler for C and C++, then loaded into the module via the CAN bus. Out of the box, the PCAN-Router comes with default firmware that forwards CAN messages 1:1 between the two channels at 500 kbit/s. The source code of this reference firmware is included in the delivery.
The module comes in an extruded aluminum housing. Two variants are offered: with D-Sub connectors or with a screw terminal.
Requirements
A PEAK-CAN interface is required to load the firmware via the CAN bus.
