Optional J1939 add-in module for the PCAN-Diag FD
The SAE J1939 standard governs data exchange in commercial vehicles via CAN. It relies on PGs (Parameter Groups) and SPs (Suspect Parameters) to structure messages and data dedicated to diagnostics and control.
This J1939 add-in module enhances the PCAN-Diag FD's capabilities by adding support for the SAE J1939 standard. CAN traffic is then interpreted according to the supplied J1939 database and presented in a readable format for the user. The module also includes decoding of multi-packet messages, address polling and processing of diagnostic data.
Activation of the J1939 module is done via a license file associated with the device. It can also be purchased separately for a PCAN-Diag FD already in service. Updates to the J1939 database are covered for a period of 2 years.
Note: Serial number
Activating the J1939 Add-in on an existing PCAN-Diag FD, as well as renewing maintenance on a J1939 Add-in license, requires the serial number of your PCAN-Diag FD. Please enter it in the comment field when placing your order.
