Configurable positioning sensor module with CAN FD interface

The PCAN-GPS Pro FD is a configurable sensor module dedicated to detecting position, orientation and acceleration. It integrates a magnetic field sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, as well as a satellite receiver offering refresh rates of up to 25 Hz. The acquired data is transmitted via CAN or CAN FD. Connection to the CAN bus is made via two chained LEMO circular connectors, allowing easy integration into measuring chains. Thanks to its rugged housing, the module is also suitable for demanding environments.

The device parameters, data acquisition and sending of CAN messages of the PCAN-GPS Pro FD are configured via the USB port using the Windows® software supplied with the product. Once configured, the module operates autonomously as an independent CAN node.
