D-Sub connector for CAN wiring with free wires
This adapter, fitted with a D-Sub plug and a three-pole screw terminal, provides a simple connection of the bare wires of a CAN bus to a D-Sub connector. All conceivable wiring configurations can thus be quickly implemented. PCAN products thereby benefit from a more flexible connection to CAN buses.
The pinout of the D-Sub plug complies with the CiA® 106 standard. The user can add a CAN bus termination by soldering an SMD or through-hole resistor onto the locations provided for this purpose.
- 3-screw terminal blocks (Phoenix) to D-Sub 9 plug (per CiA® 106)
- For connecting stripped cable ends
- SMD solder points and wire jumper to insert a termination resistor
- PCAN-Adapter D-Sub to Terminal Block
